Pumpkin Contest Is On!

Every year the residents at Pearson Centre Garden Club have a contest to see who can grow the biggest pumpkin! Last year, it was over 300 pounds!Pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin stews, soups, and baked goods still did not leave us short of pumpkin! Staff, volunteers, and residents each took some home, and it was a definite fall feature!This year, the contest is on again! We will be tracking the pumpkins over the next weeks.Check back on our blog for updates, photos and pumpkin recipes!
