Join us for an Urban Agriculture Event!

Cost: Free, Registration Required
Hosted by Farmers on 57th, a non-profit organization which operates an urban farm
with a CSA program, educational community gardens, and therapeutic accessible
gardens. This event will host several other urban farms and farmer support groups,
such as City Beet Farm, Fresh Roots, UBC Farm, Vancouver Urban Farming Society,
Vancouver Urban Food Forest, and more!
Guest Speakers
11:15 am - 12 pm: Hear from several Urban Farmers about their experience and
involvement in urban agriculture and why growing food in the city is so important.
Chrystal Sparrow, Musqueam carver and storyteller with UBC Musqueam Garden, will
kick off the day followed by several of Vancouver’s urban farmers!
Open-House
12 - 2 pm - We invite members of the public to tour Farmers on 57th and stop in at the
various tents around the farm where other urban farmers, farmer support groups, and
games will be hosted.
